Test Manager for Scania IT – New Technologies

Job description

In this role you need to have a good understanding of the IT systems development lifecycle and be used to work in agile way with good knowledge in testing discipline including test automatization. We work with own built and bought applications.

Your main tasks will be:

to drive test related issues, guide, give feedback and come up with improvements in order to always improve the delivery in our deliveries

plan, coordinate/manage test resources, execute/perform tests for different changes, from Change Request to Projects concerning changes with the area

report and follow up on trouble reports in the respective tools (in.e. JIRA)

manage test cases, environments and test data

ensure that the GUI design guidelines and other principles are followed

Competence profile, proactive approach

We are looking for someone with a university degree in IT. This should be complemented by 3-5 years of experience working as a Test Manager. Furthermore you will need to have a background as a developer with several years' experience working with testing and you must be positive to participate in improving testing, test methods and tools. You also have a keen interest in new technologies. Experience from CAD, 3D testing as well as agile working methods are beneficial. In addition to Swedish, you need to be proficient in written and spoken English.

You like working in a team, but it is also important that you can take the initiative and work independently.
