Many travelers hit by the train stop – New Technology

Another great train stop between Stockholm and Uppsala occurred yesterday and affected tens of thousands of travelers.

UPDATED: A Pulled down overhead on the route Rotebro- Upplands Väsby between Stockholm and Uppsala occurred at 17 o’clock yesterday – in the middle of rush hour traffic – and caused the first stop in the railway traffic, and then long delays.

Enligt Lena Karlsson, the press officer at the Swedish Transport Administration, the authority in charge of the courses, their forecast this morning that the error should be corrected at 10 o’clock in the day.

A half hour later announces Lena Karlsson to the extent of the defect is larger than expected and the forecast now is that the trains will go back to normal from the clock 12th

– The repair has been working since yesterday evening, all night and this morning, she said.

Exactly what caused the energized catenary torn down she does not know.

– There may be several reasons. It can be trains tearing them down, or birds flying into the overhead lines, there may be short circuit or sabotage that when branches thrown on the lines, she says.

The disturbances include long-distance trains, Arlanda Express and SL train.

While the line is repaired power supply switched off in two of four paths for operators to work safely, said Lena Karlsson.
