U.S. drone uses Swedish technique – Västervikstidningen

Swedish satellite stations makes it possible for the U.S. to send control signals to remote attack drones, according to TV4. A survey shows that government Swedish Space Corporation (SCC), former SSC, has collaboration with some of the world’s largest arms companies, such as Boeing, Look Lockheed Martin and the U.S. Air Force.

We have the technical equipment to capture the signals and collect them together and send to customers. We check thus not what’s in the cables, says Anders Jörle, Communications Director at SCC, to TV4.

Using SCC latest U.S. spy satellite WGS4 been placed over the Middle East, according to the program.

-If cooperation on such a project could be wrong, it must come from the political level, in this case, they give us our mission, says Anders Jörle.
