Hackers have cracked iPhone 5S - Aftonbladet

crack hacker group iPhone 5S fingerprint reader. A photo of a fingerprint transferred onto a plastic film is all that is required.

– But, the fingerprints are still safer than our usual pin codes, says IT expert Joakim von Braun.

new iPhone 5S, you can unlock your phone and buy apps, music and movies with your fingerprint. Now claims to the German hacker group Chaos Computer Club (CCC) have cracked iPhone 5S fingerprint reader. Just two days after the new mobile phone released, the group will be photographed by a fingerprint from a glass plate and made a false identity finger. On their website, type CCC spokesman Frank Rieger, “It is pure idiocy to use something you can not change and that you hand over all every day as a security check.”

Higher security

But the Swedish IT expert Joakim von Braun disagree. He believes that the fingerprint reader has a higher security than the usual four-digit pin code that applies to all the older models.

– It is sad that the security solution is not as strong as might at first sight but to compare it with a regular pin number is still much safer, he says.

Joakim von Braun is not surprised that fingeravtrycksavlösaren already cracked.

– We know that this type of biometric security solutions such as retinal scans or fingerprints are not as safe as many people think.

He favors longer and more complex passwords to increase security.

– Or you can simply download any advanced application that can provide encryption, he says.
