Volvo Cars now shows first pictures of the new luxury sedan S90, which it calls premium sedan.

With the car takes the step up into the premium class for competition with brands like BMW, Mercedes and Audi.

Some detailed technical data have not yet been released, the car unveiled at the Motor Show in Detroit on New Year.

However, according to Volvo, the car will be equipped with Pilot Assist, a semi-automatic driving function that helps the driver keep a steady course at speeds up to 130 km / h.

Another safety technology known as the Large Animal Detection. The look bigger animals such as elk and deer on the road and helps to slow down to avoid an accident.

In a model variant available car plug-in hybrid called T8 Twin Engine.
