Apple backlash against Samsung - Mobile

The legal battles between giants Apple and Samsung has been going on for a long time. In August 2012 Samsung was sentenced to pay a billion dollars in damages to Apple for patent infringement. The damages were later to be reduced to just over $ 639 million.

But this was not the only lawsuit that Apple and Samsung are involved in. In another – currently in progress – where would Apple take Samsung to court again, arguing that the Galaxy Note 2, Galaxy S3, Galaxy Nexus, and several other phones infringe on Apple patents.

“S4 bigger threat to Apple,”

In mid-May, left Apple a request to add Samsung’s latest top model Galaxy S4 on the above list, while would delete off another Samsung product. The reason for this was that the S4-ball constitutes a major threat to Apple intellectual property, the company claimed.

On Wednesday came the decision by U.S. Judge Paul S. Grewal on that Apple may add the Galaxy S4. This is because he believes that an extension of that kind would take up too much of the Court’s resources, writes Bloomberg.

– Every time these sides met in the courtroom occupies much of the court’s time and engeri, which in turn steals time from other parties who are also entitled to the Court’s attention, Grewal said in a statement after the decision has been made public.
