Microsoft Office released for iPhone - 99mac

Now, Microsoft Office Mobile for iPhone in the App Store. It is free, but requires a subscription to Office 365. Any version for Ipad has not been seen yet.

So here on a Friday invites Microsoft to happy news for iPhone users. They release the app # Office Mobile for iPhone is available for free from the App Store for users of Office 365 Home Premium or Office 365 Proplus. Office Mobile is available in U.S. App Store now, but have not found the Swedish version just yet.

The app is similar to its counterpart for Windows Phone, Microsoft writes in a press release. You can view and make changes to files from Word, Excel and Powerpoint while such are away from your computer.

One of the benefits of the app is that the documents look the same in the mobile as on Mac and PC. For users who are out and about, it’s easy to access documents from SkyDrive, Microsoft’s cloud storage.

Any version for Ipad Microsoft says nothing about. On their website compares Microsoft Case against Windows tablets and highlights precisely that Office apps missing as an argument for example, the self-produced plate Surface.
