Father Emil Nyström pictures of her daughter in unusual positions spread across the world – and has also appeared in the British Daily Mail.
– It’s great, it has really gone off, says Emil Nyström.
Signhild from Umeå seems far more mature than his age in the pictures that spread in social media and on the news and photo sites. Although there were a lot of pictures before she could even stand or hold up his own head – which was resolved with a helping hand and a bit of Photoshop work.
– I had to get help from someone, often by my partner, who got hold of her. Then I had to edit out the person in Photoshop, says Emil Nyström.

The idea for the unusual pictures he already before her daughter was born.
– I am inspired by the funny commercials, both on television and in print, and had some ideas before about doing something similar. Through this I gained an outlet for those ideas.
Emil Nyström says that it was still something of a coincidence that these images came to be.
– I’m a photographer by profession and was playing with little equipment when she made a funny face and held hands in a very funny way. Then I cut her into Photoshop and made a first image and then it went after that. So it was a little happy accident from the beginning, he says.
How does she feel about being photographed?
– So far I do not think she understands what is going on. But she thinks it’s fun to be with.

– So far it has only been positive. It has really gone off and you probably have not really understood this yet, but it is great fun. You may be glad and grateful that it has spread so.
Emil Nyström say they have more photos of Signhild again – and soon pictures populated by another, little person.
– There comes a baby for about a month so it’ll well be more such images. I will definitely continue. As long as I have time.
