Wall Street Journal reported at the weekend that Google is very close to a takeover by the Israeli company Waze for over a billion dollars, equivalent to 6.5 billion.
Waze offers a Traffic app for iOS and Android that collects traffic information from users. The company has 45 million users in 193 countries.
For just a months ago Wall Street Journal reported that Facebook was also interested in buying Waze for around one billion dollars. Neither Waze or Google have commented on the latest data. According to the source The Wall Street Journal talked to the deal announced already this week.IDG News
