Airplane with 66 on board has crashed in the Mediterranean – Aftonbladet

Egyptairs flight MS804 route from Paris to Cairo feared to have crashed in the Mediterranean.

Late Wednesday night lifted Egyptairs flight 804 from airport Charles de Gaulle in Paris, France. The aircraft would land early on Thursday morning at the international airport in Cairo, Egypt.

What then happened to the aircraft is not yet fully understood, but the latest information is that it is feared to have crashed in the eastern parts of the Mediterranean , just under 30 mil north of the coast of Egypt. Egyptian authorities argue that it is not yet confirmed.

The airline Egyptair declared themselves on Twitter early this morning that the plane disappeared from radar.

Earlier, there were reports that the plane two hours after it disappeared from the radar sent out a distress signal received by the Egyptian military, reports Reuters, referring to Egyptair.
