Microsoft integrates technology from Gothenburg in Windows 8.1. It could be a major breakthrough for Fingerprint Cards.

Sensors from Fingerprint Cards integrated into the next version of the operating system Windows 8. The user’s fingerprint can then be used to log on to Microsoft Accounts and manage online payments or other transactions.

– The biggest news in the company’s 16-year history, says Gothenburg Company president Johan Carlstrom.
