Here are the winners of the Apple Design Awards - CAP & Design

Apple Design Awards is the company’s annual awards for the best apps and programs released or updated during the previous year. The awards ceremony takes place at WWDC, and a few hours ago announced this year’s winners.

This year won eleven grants, two of which were developed by students. Here are all of them:

WWF Together – A graphic display of various endangered species. World Wildlife Fund, the iPad.

procreate – Professional painting on the iPad. Save Interactive, iPad.

Badland – Side Kroll Spirit platform adventure. Frog Mind, iPhone and iPad.

Yahoo! Weather – Local weather. Yahoo, the iPhone and iPad.

Letterpress – innovative word game. Atebits, iPhone and iPad.

Ridiculous Fishing – Nostalgic “8 bit game” where you fish with all sorts of weapons. Vlambeer, iPhone and iPad.

Sky Gamblers: Storm Raiders – Aerospace fighter during World War II. Atypical Games, iPhone, iPad and Mac.

Coda 2 – Popular text editor for coding. Panic, Mac.

Evernote – Notes in the cloud. Evernote Corporation, iPhone, iPad and Mac.

Finish – Student Price. A new approach to-do apps. Ryan Orbuch and Michael Hansen, iPhone.

Mosaic.io – Student Price. Creates dynamic mosaics of a picture that shows several interconnected iPhone and iPad. Ishaan Gulrajani, Alex List and Zain Shah, iPhone and iPad.
