During the day, which was organized for the second year, had about 150 engineering students high school students from Skaraborg region came to the University of Skövde. Students who attended all go to a secondary school included in technical colleges.
The theme was the future of technology, and students were among others acquainted with 3D scanning, design, simulation and optimization.
– I see a great interest for the day of my students. It becomes like an eye-opener to read further. Students need out and see what there is to share, says Ove Lindberg principal at Lichron Technical College in Skövde.
Dino Palisic ‘and Tova Aronsson is the Technology of West Height High School and was also pleased with the day.
– I really liked the 3D scanning, says Dino, noting how cool he thinks developments in technology are.
– In the past they had a computer that took up an entire room to figure out simpler equations. Today you can have a staggering amount of technology in front of a couple of small glasses.
