Suspect 21-year-old showed extreme right-wing sympathies online – Aftonbladet

The 21-year-old suspected of being behind the attack on Kronogård School is described by people close to him as a reclusive young man.

But online, he was more extroverted and showed extreme right sympathies.

Now the Security Service (Säpo) engaged in the case.

– We cooperate with the police team in Gothenburg, says Fredrik Milder, press secretary of the Security Service.

The 21-year-old lived in Trollhättan throughout his life. He has several siblings and both parents in their lives. The relatives must have traumatized by the event.

Primary school completed 21-year-old according to the Trollhättan city in a completely different school than where the attack took place. In high school he joined the technical line.

– He kept mostly to himself and played the computer and was in his own little world. He did not say much but was kind to everyone, says a former classmate.



“Always nice”

One person in the man’s closeness today describes him as pleasant.

– I usually greet him, he is always nice, says the familiar.

She describes that he has a little “special” style.

– A little trashy. He has almost always black clothes, and camouflage-patterned.

During high school, he had long hair and is described by classmates as much interested in music, especially hard rock.

– He had absolutely no interest for Hitlerian and the like. What you thought was just that he was very interested in music, it was very emo-style in force, says a former classmate.

But after high school changed man their style and their behavior on the Internet. According to people who surrounded him, he cut off her long hair and started to like pages that celebrates Adolf Hitler and Nazi Germany on the various social media. On Facebook also supports a petition to stop immigration to Sweden.



Not already convicted

The man is said not to be known by the police in the past.

On Thursday afternoon was performed a search of the man’s apartment where police stated that they found “items of interest”.

Now the police will investigate whether there may have been a political motivation for the attack carried out at a school with a high proportion of foreign-born children of

– We have it in the picture, but there is nothing I want to comment at this time, said the head of felonies in the region, Thord Haraldsson.

Sapo connected

Meanwhile, the Swedish Security Service (Säpo) linked into the case and assist the police in Gothenburg.
