Yes to monitoring are just a formality – Aftonbladet

So far so good. Criminals are using modern technology and police need to keep up with developments in order to have a reasonable chance.

To minimize the risk of misuse of this grubbing in people’s lives must prosecutors go to court to get clearance. While it is good.

But then it becomes worrisome. The report is clear that the court almost always grants permission.

Thumbs up to the secret surveillance of electronic communication was given at the 5959 sessions. Rejected were three per thousand. You read that right. Three per thousand.

This may be because the prosecutors know exactly where the line is and almost always act with precision. But it seems undeniable that they have a pleasant journey through the court.

Which brings us to the real topic of this column, the Government’s dream of placing the Trojans in the population’s computers.

a law that would give the state the opportunity to penetrate into people’s privacy to a degree we have not been close in the past and that is so intrusive that even Carl Bildt has warned for it.

Rosenbad would not hear of objections. Do not worry! Although this compulsion to be discussed in court! The judges make sure everything goes right!

The problem is that the prosecutors apparently will get the green light even if they turn to the district court in his sleep.
