Engineers in Structural Calculations, Design, Welding and Standardization
Voith Turbo Connecting Couplings are looking for a Structural Calculations Engineer and a Design Engineer, with welding and standardization competence, to our plant Voith Turbo Safeset AB in Hudiksvall.
Voith Turbo Safeset AB manufactures and develops advanced torque limiting, process improving and connection couplings, used to protect high value rotating equipment and increase productivity in a variety of industries. As a product line in the business unit, Connecting Couplings, we are a part of the Voith GmbH, a globally active engineering group, with more than 20,000 employees worldwide. By Voith, we act worldwide in all major markets and market segments such as energy, mobility, raw materials and metals.
As Design Engineer your responsibility is to create customer unique design proposals, create production drawings and develop standardized product designs.
Required qualifications:
- Master/Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
- Good theoretical background and experience in machine design
- Fluent in writing and speaking English
Meriting competences:
- International Welding Engineer (IWE) diploma or experience in welding technology
- the Extended know-how in drivelines and torque transmitting couplings, tribology
- Experience in standardization and modularization, structured mindset
