Walter Norden (WNO) is a sales company within the Walter Group, with the nordic countries and the Baltic states sales region. Within the department’s Local Engineering in Halmstad, sweden, we have objective to provide technical expertise and support the sales organization to identify the best technical solutions for our customers. A varied and independent work where no day is like the other, we are now looking for a communicative and solution-oriented technical verktygsspecialist.
For us, your profile is the most important and therefore is the place of employment for this service is flexible within the south of Sweden.


Duties

As a technical vertygsspecialist you are acting as support to our sales organization in the technical field where your broad knowledge and understanding of the tools is of great importance. Based on orders from customers you work out the best possible solutions – both from our standard range and our specialvertyg and you analyze the information and the evidence submitted with a critical eye to find the right tools and methods for the purpose. To justify and communicate the results of your analyses is very important in order to create customer satisfaction. You design and prisberäknar solutions and to optimize processes based on the markets needs. Furthermore, you have a close cooperation with our sales team and the headquarters in Germany and, if necessary, you also have direct contact with customers and with third-party vendors, particularly where the solution requires external manufacturing.


Your profile

We are looking for someone who has at least five years of practical experience in applications for cutting tools, from a role as production technician, engineer or similar position. You also have an education or degree in mechanical engineering or mechanical manufacturing, this is a plus. You have a lot of experience from the manufacturing industry, and broad knowledge of the products we work with, and you can make a competent assessment of what is technically feasible. Furthermore, you have knowledge of milling, drilling, tapping, threading and turning. Since we are working in a global environment with many international contacts are your skills in Swedish and English very good, both in speaking and in writing.
