VA engineer – New Technologies

DHI is looking for new colleagues to our Gothenburg and our office in stockholm. At both locations we are looking for people with some years of relevant background and experience in the field.

At DHI, we work with the VA-studies in the area of water supply and sewage/stormwater management. Your area of interest can be either a little wider in both the water and sewer or enhanced in one of the areas water supply, wastewater treatment or storm water.

We are working with advanced modeling with direct link to real-world conditions through measurements and theoretical analyses of issues in the VA area. Our mission consists of hydraulic VA-investigations, skyfallsanalyser, dagvattenutredningar, farms, freshwater quality, water purification plants, distribution systems in small and large cities and towns, regional water supply, on-line and real-time management of management systems and wastewater treatment plants, tillskottsvatten and the environmental impact of grids mm.

Service

For both services, you are working as managing consultant in a project team to investigate, analyze and compile the results. We would like to see you as early as possible, work close to and in dialogue with our customers to gain an increased knowledge and understanding of their needs and challenges.

We prefer that you have an interest in in-depth knowledge and a personal development towards an expert advisory role, and that you can contribute to the continued development of our services. VA-the groups often work together with other competencies and groups within the DHI Sweden and the rest of the urban units within the DHI Group. The service therefore offers good opportunities to work with other water experts and areas of expertise within the DHI.

Qualifications

You have a Masters/msc degree in a relevant field, such.ex. Civil engineering, Road and Water, Ekosystemteknik, Environment and water engineering or equivalent. It is desirable with working experience in the field. It is important that you have a good ability to express yourself in speech and writing, in English and communicate in English.
