400 million for new solar electricity – New Technology

The government injects new grant money to people who install solar panels. SEK 400 million extra for solar power to be allocated over the next four years.

In 2009, a state aid to install solar cells . Today you can get a refund of up to 35 percent of the cost, or most 1.2 million. Interest in the support has been great, and there has been a concern in the industry for the money set aside to end.

Now Government proposes that pot should be increased by 100 million per year over the next four years. To justify the government decision: “Solar is a renewable energy technology that is beneficial from a climate perspective, but that is not yet commercially competitive., It remains set mode to the development of solar power is stimulated.”

Förslaget means that a total of 240 million will be allocated annually during 2015 and 2016, while 100 million per year is allocated for the year 2017 and by 2018.

Energimyndigheten publishes monthly statistics on solar support. The latest report from September 2014 indicate that a total of 437 million have been granted since subsidies were introduced on 1 July 2009 over the same period has 316 million disbursed. The support is rambegränsat which means that you can only get money as long as they deposited the money lasts.

The government’s budget also proposed a tax credit for micro-producers of renewable electricity. The proposal means that you can deduct 60 cents in taxes for every kilowatt hour fed into the public grid from eg solar cells or wind turbines.
