C4 Technology acquitted for Ängamölleläckan – Kristianstadsbladet



Kristianstad.
The preliminary investigation about suspected environmental crimes in connection with the spill in Ängamöllebäcken last year is closed.

On August 16 last year it was discovered that an unknown amount of wastewater from industries and households have leaked and contaminated Ängamöllebäcken outside LH. C4 Technology, which is responsible for the sewers, was because of the spill on suspicion of offenses. The Environmental Health Office made a complaint. After having gone through the comprehensive study material consider environmental prosecutor Ingvar Wennersten that it is impossible to prove that someone has been “punishable negligence”. It adds the investigation down. Prosecution points out that if there is new information to the investigation be taken up again.
