Vattenfall British billion deal – New Technology

The state energy group Vattenfall sells its infrastructure for power transmission to the Thanet wind farm on the east coast of England for two billion. The buyer is electricity network company Balfour Beatty writes Waterfall in a press release.

“Vattenfall continues to own and operate the 100 wind turbines in the Thanet but the generated electricity is transported from now on to the national grid via Balfour Beatty’s distribution network, “writes Waterfall.
