The queue for the state photovoltaic support is now so long that in practice it is futile to submit a new application today. “The applications now located inside far exceeds the available budget,” says Linus Palm leaves on Energy Agency.

The Agency has approximately 50 million left to allocate in 2015 but this money is not enough.

– Interest in solar cells is increasing all time. But sadly, we must expect long wait if you apply now because it is already so many applications, in turn, waiting, says Linus Palm Leaf, administrator at the Swedish Energy Agency.

Linus Palm leaves do not want to use the word hopeless for new applications, but right now it does not look bright. The Agency has pending applications for far more than there is money for this year.

– What happens to aid in the future is up to Government. It may happen that you get support for new applications, but it may take a few years, he says to new technology.

Since support to investments in photovoltaic systems was introduced in June 2009, the Agency has granted 3000 of 7000 applications nearly 450 million in support. The support may be up to 35 percent of the investment cost.

So far, the Agency has only managed to pay out just under SEK 350 million.

Industry and Trade, Ibrahim Baylan writes in an email to the New Technology to the budget p-mp-government added, but did not receive through, contained a PV aid of 100 million more than the previous alliance government wanted to invest.

New Technology’ve searched previous energy minister Anna Karin Hatt a comment .
