Ms Wallström can in the current situation does not give any answer to what these instruments can bring. But monitoring methods may be examined:

– I think in the first instance will start talking about monitoring capabilities. But you also need to put the problem in a larger framework, she says.

Wallström said today that Mona Sahlin, the coordinator when it comes to violent extremism, shortly to be given more resources and powers at their disposal.

The government wants to, inter alia, accelerate the establishment of a hotline, where people are heading overseas to fight or engage in other extreme events, can call for support to abstain.

Margot Wallström said today that the Government’s reply is that “nonalignment served Sweden well” – and that there is no reason to change it. Instead, we develop Sweden’s partnership with NATO.

– I think the arguments for NATO membership is weak, I do not see what the problem with nonalignment is, she says.

Annie Loof connected in its Speaking of a new NATO investigation into the so-called December Accord between the Government and the Alliance bloc.

– I assume that the government – after our joint December agreement – is prepared to investigate the pros and cons of NATO membership.

If it becomes necessary with an investigation would Sjöstedt instead hold a referendum on yes or no to Swedish NATO membership.
