Three houses burned during the night – Göteborgs-Posten

Two houses burned during the night in the Gothenburg area. Police suspect that one of the fires, in Härryda, was landscaped. In the municipality of Mark completely destroyed a house and it is unclear if anyone was inside.

The first alarm came from Härryda close to Landvetter Airport shortly after midnight. There was burning in the old post office, now housing and pizzeria.

The house is located next door with a petrol station.

The fire caused damage in the bathroom and in the attic but the fire could be limited.

– They got hold of it quite so good, says LO Nordstrom, lead operator at the emergency services in Greater Gothenburg, if callouts.

Witnesses saw people on the spot before the fire started and the police are investigating arson.

– We have indications that it was arson. The place is cordoned off, says duty officer at the police in West Bengal.

Just over ten minutes later got an alarm if a house fire in Kåhög east of Partille. There seems to have started the fire on the patio and spread into the house. The ground floor was spent.

– There was a fairly difficult to extinguish construction fire, says Nordström.

Even in this case, a preliminary investigation of arson start, but it is normal procedure for comprehensive coverage of fires .

The rescue had staff remain in both places on Sunday morning.

None of the fires resulted in someone needed to be taken to hospital, according to SOS Alarm.

Later that night burned two houses in Sjuhäradsbygden.

The first alarm came 2:36 and concerned a property Surteby north of Horredsmattan in Mark Municipality. The villa was largely flashover when neighbors raised the alarm. The villa was destroyed and it is not clear if there was any man in the building.

– It burned for full and there was no way we could take us in, says Mikael Rohmée, chief of staff at the emergency services in southern Älvsborgsbron.

First, during the day, a technical study to be done. Two firefighters remained at the villa on Sunday morning.

Half-six in the morning was alerted emergency services even to a villa in Skene southwest of Borås. Where it proved to be the case of smoke but no fire.

– It was a dry frying. Someone had forgotten food in the oven was at, say Rohmée.

One person was checked by paramedics but did not need to be taken to hospital.

Rescue Services in Greater Gothenburg had during the late evening and early night also busy with several fires in containers. For a few hours, came at least six alarms if such fires – three in Västra Frölunda, two Hisingen and Mölndal.
