Leif GW: Must be new forensic evidence – Expressen

Leif GW Persson has previously been critical of the investigation in Arboga murder.

But when 41-year-old and 18-year-old has now been arrested a second time, he believes that it suggests great progress in the investigation.

– There must be a major technical advance which the police have done.

the 41-year-old woman and 18-year-old man who has previously been arrested for summer cottage murder in Arboga arrested today for the second time .

the arrest was conducted by Norwegian police in a hotel in Trondheim, Norway. The two were transported Wednesday to Sweden where they will again be questioned.

According to police, the professor Leif GW Persson was the arrest is not a day too soon. He believes that the investigation had gone to attend better and that it would not have had such a hurry to arrest 41-year-old and 18-year-old in the first stage.

– There are a lot of measures that can be taken without the arrest and later forced to drop subjects unless they are detained. You can bring them in for questioning, issuing travel bans or use restrictions. But this seems to have gone the easy way, to ask directly, he says.

“Does not look good if they are released again”

The police wanted Wednesday not tell you what a bargain it has made in the investigation, which in turn has led to the strengthening of the suspicions. But now that they have been arrested and detained a second time says Leif GW Persson that the police must have made great progress in the investigation.

– There are not enough new evidence in order to call these people internationally and act as soon as you have done. The police must have done something greater technical findings, it would not look especially good if they were released again, he says.

Examples of this mean GW may be, for example, a murder weapon or the like.

– A knife should, for example, have been used in connection with the murder, it is enough to have been with him blood to the car or something like that you should have something strong to go on, he said.

the 41-year-old woman and 18-year-old man has previously denied all allegations and was released somewhat surprising just over two weeks ago.

“does not intend to recognize”

According to Leif GW Persson suggest the heralded actions also that the police now have something strong to go on.

– these people do not seem to intend to admit, they are instead confronted with such strong evidence that they understand that it is not worth denying. The police know, and therefore it must be strong forensic evidence that police have received up, he said.
