Mother and son shot in the night in Norway – Aftonbladet

Police found the night three people severely injured after a shooting incident in a residence in Kirkenes, Norway.

A 12-year-old boy and his 37-year-old mother died.

the third person, a man, hospitalized – and is now suspected of murder.

at 4:13 last night, the police were in the small town of Kirkenes in northern Norway, an alarm if an apartment brawl.

When the patrol arrived at the scene were three people in the home, a child and two adults, all with severe gunshot wounds.

the woman died on the spot. The 12-year-old boy was taken to hospital where he was pronounced dead early this morning, writes Norwegian VG.

Later in the morning police confirmed that the other deceased person was the boy’s mother.

The third person , a man, cared still hospitalized for serious injuries. His injuries are not life-threatening, according to the hospital for Norwegian television.

According to the Norwegian press, he is stepfather to 12-year-old.

A murder investigation has been launched.

– police have not the full picture, and are working hard on technical inspection, writes Norwegian police said in a statement, according to VG.

at present, there are no doubts that there should have been more people in the the apartment when the shooting occurred.

– But the police do not rule out anything so early in the investigation, it says in the press release.

There were neighbors of the family who alerted police. The family should not have lived long in Kirkenes.

At 12 o’clock on Monday, police said at a news conference that the injured man is suspected of murder. Police have also seized a gun in the home, which he is believed to have used in the crime.

The Norwegian Police now confirm that the suspect man was married to the 37-year-old woman.
