Your duties
You will work as funktionsutvecklare for Scania’s system for electro-hydraulic steering. There are just electronics and software with the hydraulics and mechanics to realizing Scania’s first system of active governance. Functions as an active rattretur and speed-sensitive power steering will be developed, but also an interface to allow software functions to control our vehicles to be developed. In your role you will t.ex. work with to set the correct features and try them in our vehicles, to develop and verify the security concept for the system as well as drive various technical issues towards the supplier. The system of active governance is a very important component in Scania’s path towards the autonomous and self-driven cars, and you will have a key role on the journey!
the System is developed together with YOU and a supplier, and you will be part of a multidisciplinary team at Scania with experts on everything from software, electronics and mechanics to vehicle dynamics and steering feel. Collaboration and iterative work both internally at Scania, with MAN and with our supplier is a key to get to the quality and function we want to have on the system.

Your profile
We think you are a master of science with specialization in software engineering or have equivalent work experience. You can communicate fluently in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
As a person you have to communicate clearly and listen up. The role requires that you are a quality-driven, innovative and have an analytical ability. Work in a team is something you enjoy and you are encouraged by the challenge to get the drive issues internally at Scania and against the provider.
