Waterfall is looking for system administrator in complex IT environment – New Technology

Your responsibilities as systems manager

We offer a stimulating and varied work where you as a system administrator is responsible to maintain and develop IT systems in our complex IT environment. You work mainly with purchased standard as well as adaptations of these and the integration between them. You are part of a team with multiple system managers where you support each other. You have a close cooperation with the förvaltningsledare and project manager, but working in the long-run independently within your technical area.

You will primarily be working with:

  • system Management (contact with users, troubleshooting + proactivity, action in the short and long term)
  • Continuous maintenance of förvaltningsdokumentation
  • Installation, configuration and customizations of the software
  • Projects and assignments, both the larger and smaller
  • License management (in the first instance the liquid nätverkslicenser)

As a systems manager with us, you need to have the following qualifications:

  • IT-technical training to university/college, which provides a good basis to stand on
  • Like any professional experience in such areas as system development, client/server operation
  • Preferably knowledge/experience of working with processes to achieve high quality, t.ex. ITIL and testing
  • Great interest for complex technical systems and contexts.
  • Good skills in English and Swedish both oral and written.

We are looking for someone who is analytical, curious and can foresee the big picture, while you can go into the details, you work structured. You are responsible, planning your own time, and is the driving force. You can work together and are good at understanding the needs that customers express. Your absolute driving force is problem-solving and technology. You like to have many balls in the air and can manage change through a positive attitude. In order to “fit in” are you an open person with sense of humor.


You need to have the following technical qualifications/experience of:

  • Windows client and server environment
  • Active Directory
  • Distribution of software products with Microsoft SCCM
  • Understanding of firewalls and network
  • the Oracle Database

We are working in an environment characterized by high demands on IT security.

Lives is the Ringhals nuclear power plant.
