Techniques to Motortillverkningens Quick-team – New Technology

Your duties

You will work in a cross-functional group that has the task to improve product quality on the Scania engines with a focus on end-user satisfaction. The team consists of people from engineering, purchasing and production with the ultimate task is to protect our end users from any quality problems. The team supports the processing and foundry by:

  • uppdragsleda cross-functional problem-solving, and action plans where the causes can be combinations of design, production process or leverantörsavvikelser
  • reverse and follow up deviations from our suppliers, in cases where the deviations have a major impact on production and may require cross-functional cooperation
  • escalation to the purchasing department in the case of recurrent leverantörsproblem
  • management at the incident and the potential fältkvalitetsärenden
  • You will act as project manager by coordinating and call in the skills and people needed to understand and push through the data. You will get a wide network of contacts within the company and with external suppliers.

    Your Profile

    We are looking for someone who has engineering background and/or equivalent experience, preferably in the processing and construction. You have a great interest in machining and quality control.

    As a person you are driven and used to working cross-functional. To thrive in the role you need to have good interpersonal skills and be open and outgoing. You have the ability to organize, plan and manage many different tasks and many contacts. You have easy to communicate and fluent English in speech and writing. Experience of ritningsläsning is a plus.
