Woman was stabbed six times in Örebro – Aftonbladet

A 25-year-old woman was stabbed six times during the night in Örebro.

The police later managed to arrest a 21-year old man who is now suspected of attempted murder.

– I have heard that there would be a former boyfriend to her, but there is nothing I can confirm, says Johan Wallenius, duty officer at Örebro police.

The police received the alarm at 22:47. In an apartment on the west of Örebro had a young woman had been stabbed.

The woman was so unresponsive that the police could hold an initial hearing with her on the spot. In connection with it, she stated also the name of the perpetrator.

Got to go on a new alarm

A while later, when police worked to secure forensic evidence in the apartment they had a new alarm as they had to go on. Once again it was said to be some kind of argument between a man and a woman. When police arrived at the address they found the suspect. He had smashed a window in a door and was very drunk.

– He was arrested at 0:25 on suspicion of attempted murder and malicious damage, but we have not been able to hold any hearing with him yet. He would be so affected that it was not possible, says Johan Wallenius.



Non-life-threatening injuries

The man was previously known to police, but not for serious violent crimes. Police investigating judge position as well, among other things they have already found the knife suspected to have been used in the attack.

The knife cut the woman was taken by ambulance to University Hospital in Orebro for the care and radiology. It is unclear how serious her injuries are, but she was unresponsive when police arrived at the scene.
