Later this year shows a comet in the sky that are expected to be brighter than the full moon.

NASA has released the first close-up of the comet ISON discovered by Russian astronomers in 2012. The pictures are taken by the Hubble Space Telescope and shows the comet at a distance of around 600 million kilometers from Earth. That’s about as far as the planet Jupiter’s current orbit.

the moment ISON not visible to the naked eye. But when, according to calculations is that closest to the sun on November 28 this year, is expected to shine as bright as the full moon. That makes it one of the brightest comets ever been seen from the Earth, and according to Hubble’s website the potential to be “the century comet.”

Right now Ison towards the sun at a speed of 75,000 km / h Comet head (coma) is about 5000 km wide and tail 90,000 km long. But the core is expected to be only about five km in diameter.
