Conny Forsström's democratic socialist blog - Västerbotten Courier

display of this film in the SVT would probably beat last nail in the coffin of the Alliance, and rightists would obviously not that it appears before the election. But to these I would ask the question of what is so problematic, then they can make a film that portrays reality as they perceive it. There’s plenty of time before September. Moreover, the film is critical in every possible direction.

But they already know that such a film would have very little impact on public opinion. People are not blind to what is happening to society under market forces ever increasing dominance, and even hegemony. We are indeed heading for a night-watchman, Tory ultimate dream vision, a hellish abyss for us, driven by companies, where people’s needs always take second place to the capital. Let’s slow down the current “development”, or rather the dismantling of human dignity by voting out the current government in September.

“Today almost everything is up for sale … Market values ??crowd out non market values ??… We drifted from having a market economy to being a market society.” – Michael J. Sandel, a professor at Harvard University
