Paper Plane, informs the drones - CAP & Design

Stahle graduated at Berghs last year and is now before the U.S. president’s visit designed a drone that folds of paper.

class=”paragraphIntro”> – A drone is an unmanned aerial vehicle. By that definition is a paper airplane also a drone! This particular model provides information on the nature of the drones used by the U.S. in particular Pakistan and Yemen, and of the consequences of drönarkrig says Knut Stahle.

Inside the folded craft there is information about the types of drones used by the U.S..

– The fold is a simple model that my dad taught me when I was little. It also resembles some of the drones the U.S. uses. Practically, it acts as a flyer, but embodied in the design are folding instructions. When the plane is folded hidden text and statistics on the bottom and in the fold, while the top looks a lot like a real drone, says Stahle

– Many know barely what a drone is, much less how much they’re used in war. More information is needed, and why not make use of unmanned aircraft to reach out with it? he continues.

Pappersdrönarna will distributed and test flown during today’s presidential visit. Stahle has since graduation worked with several facets of graphic design, but have recently focused more on the infographic.

– It’s fun when design can serve as novelty items – instead of explaining numbers or challenging relationships in words, can you explain them in pictures, says Stahle.
