Thousands password has been leaked on the net since the Kristianstad based company Digitalboxen.com been the victim of a hacker attack.

There are approximately 25,000 customers who have received their login details published online after having acted by Digitalboxen.com, the newspaper Computer Sweden.

Hackers have managed to get over the passwords stored in clear text of the deal. It has cross driven data against including Facebook and Twitter and Facebook accounts found in 1200 and 1400 Twitter Accounts.

Clients are advised to change your password and avoid using the same password for different services.

The Digital Electronics Scandinavia AB behind Digitalboxen.com. Kristianstadsbladet have tried to reach accountable for comment, however. Emil Ashoor, representing the company told Computer Sweden that he asked the subcontractor to the homepage of fix the errors.

– We have asked them to close down. We did not know that the passwords were saved in plain text.

Digitalboxen.com should have been warned that hackers would publish the data and was already a week ahead out and warned their customers.
