Microsoft attracts the iPad owners in the U.S. to buy Surface - 99mac

In the U.S. and Canada, there is now a campaign in which Microsoft offers owners of Ipad to get gift of at least $ 200 when buying enterprise tablet Surface.

Last spring, Microsoft made fun of Siri on the iPad in a commercial for Windows 8 on tablets. Now they come with a concrete offer for the iPad owner to get gift cards with a value of at least $ 200 for an Ipad 2, 3 or 4 at the time of RT Surface or Surface Pro.

sales # Surface has been slow and this is a way for Microsoft to try to lure users from Apple’s tablet. They have already reduced the prices of both Surface RT and Surface Pro.

Offer valid only in Microsoft’s own stores in the U.S. and Canada and can not be used online. The voucher, which therefore is at least $ 200, you can use the Microsoft Store. For those who live in the U.S. and are considering the offer, it may be worth noting that Microsoft holds a special Surface-event on Sept. 23 when the Surface 2 is expected to launch.

However, it is likely that the seller of the iPad itself can get more money, a quick look at the book says that the iPad 2 goes for around 2000 bucks here in Sweden.
