Car owners have previously reported that Skoda Yeti will have a older siblings that are based on the same technical platform as the next generation Volkswagen Tiguan. Earlier this year we were able to display a custom illustration showing how the next model might look like.
Skoda confirms that such an suv is going. The Czech manufacturer’s chief executive, Winfried Vahland, said in an interview with British car magazine Autocar that new SUV, which still has no official name, will be launched in 2016.
The car will be slightly larger and roomier than the sibling model from Volkswagen. It will be offered with five or seven seats and front-or all-wheel drive.
