Fun.

The premiere of SVT’s food program “The Great mats team” at the doors. First off, Björn Ranelids Kivik Team, which meets law Klimpfjäll from Lapland. “It will be bloody,” said Bjorn Ranelid and mean it. Literally.

We sit in the kitchen at home ranelidska Kivik, days before Tuesday’s premiere of “The great attention the team.” Margaret Ranelid made apple cake on sponge cake, Bjorn serving coffee. Outside proves Osterlen in their beautiful autumn colors. A beauty and aesthetics, you’ll never get to see in the gross domestic product, to borrow Ranelids words.

In May, the author Bjorn Ranelid the final auditions for its Kivik Team here at home, before rolling television cameras. They chose wine and beverage expert Simon Axéll-Thoors from Onslunda, Brosarp Son and meat merchant Magnus Henningsson and Karin Weibull operating their bakery in Kivik.

– I could not get a better team. I got all the ingredients I wanted. Also, I have made friends for life, says Björn Ranelid.

Now the team is back together in the kitchen. Or nearly so. Karin is the trip to Gothenburg, but Magnus and Simon is visiting Ranelid. You can tell that they had fun together during filming.

– I know no one who can both eat and assess the food as good as Bear Ranelid says Magnus and looks at his coach.

– Yes, I can eat copiously much, but I have high metabolism, too, agree with Bjorn Ranelid and says that he once ate 40 potatoes at a midsummer party of former YA photographer Thorsten Persson.

The appetite thinks Magnus Henningsson benefit.

– I actually said to bear this weekend that from now on he will be my first sausage maker. As soon as I develop new recipes for sausages so Björn will be included in the tasting group.

– It is the highest honor I have received in a long time. It’s just my style, too, said Bjorn Ranelid with a laugh.

They agree that Osterlen has a rich food culture.

– whatever we want to eat or serve as we live right in the pantry. There is no other part of the country that has so much different food, fish, poultry, game, vegetables, fruit, everything. We took all the ingredients with us up, too, because we did not want to risk any locals would screw up, says Magnus Henningsson.

The premiere face the singer Sandra Dahlberg and her Lappish law Dumplings Fold. The duel was filmed in Stockholm just after midsummer, so they obviously already know how well their custom designed Kivik Menu with Mussels boiled in wine, honey glazed vildsvinsracks and apple cake, stands up to mountain food from the north. But in terms of the result they keep quiet.

– No matter how it goes, so we had a very nice and fun. And Bjorn humor bigger than Pirate Prize, says Simon Axéll-Thoor.

They reveal, however, after glancing looks at the knife lying by apple pie, it became somewhat dramatically during recording.

– It has been learned now that when the TV team comes and says “good television, continue” then you know that something is happening that should not happen, says Magnus Henningsson.

Early in the duel would Simon Axéll-Thoors chop garlic, but happened to also hack into your thumb.

– It was a really good jack, with a lot of blood and a production company which initially did not really understand, but came with patches. But it was much worse than that, he says.

– It was to take towels and more. But you cut so cut it out, it can happen to anyone, says Björn Ranelid.

The author points out that an important reason why he ran for the program is the ability to highlight KivikStrand matkännare from the district, which separates the “Great food team” from other food programs.

– The advertising Osterlen is worth 25 million, says Björn Ranelid, and begin to count how many wrappers, articles and television minutes that the program generates.

Spettkaksbagaren Karin Weibull, the team’s fourth member, was greatly surprised when she was chosen. She had not prepared themselves significantly and sauntered down to the first cut in foppa worn slippers. So does Karin not particularly big deal of television exposure.

– Tv I do not care so much about. I have not even television itself. But it was very fun people. For the guys, this is of course very exciting, they have businesses to advertise. I’m just a wrinkled old lady, she says.

Though she says that it was a very fun race, which ended with sushi, wine and nice afterparty at two thirty at night in Ranelids Södermalm apartment.

Remains to be seen in the case Kivik team celebrated advancement or washed down the loss. After the Tuesday premiere of “The Great Food Team” We know that.
