A typical error message for those who tried to update the Surface RT with Windows 01.08.

Computer Sweden is just one of the many magazines that tested the new Windows 8.1 and the experience is not only positive. Of all the worst things have gone for it, perhaps small user group, which tried to update your tablet Surface RT from Microsoft. After a number of bug reports regarding users affected by the so-called blue screens, the “blue screen of death” Microsoft decided to pull back the release of Windows 8.1 from the Windows Store.

Class=”paragraphIntro”> One of the problems I have encountered and as many others commented on Microsoft’s support forum for an error message that reads: “Safe Start is not configured correctly.”
Even Thomas Floberg, business area manager for Windows states that he had e this error .

– In different threads are apparently a number of Asus computers affected, namely I get the same text on my Asus computer at home.

The computer I got the error message on is not an Asus Laptop with Intel’s little NUC using “UEFI secure booting”. A solution that has worked for some is to go into the bios and turn on secure booting, but this is not possible on some models. In my case, it usually does not come on after step login through Microsoft Account.

– The response of us is that there is a known issue and that it being worked on it, says Thomas Floberg.

In the comment field below my test article on Windows 8.1, many people generally chafes at the troublesome installation procedure. A typical comment comes from “Christ led wulff”: “The update cost me about 5 hours of extra work. Noise disappeared, as well as” extended displays. “Updates to the sound and video cards, recovery. Updates that ended up in the” loop “and more.” His final twist is: “Do not be a touch screen = no greater benefit with the update.”
