Computer determines the future health of children - Swedish Dagbladet

Initially the service will focus on the genome of donor sperm and its recipients. The aim, according to the company Genepeek, is to avoid hereditary diseases by sorting away donors with “inappropriate” genes. For each pair is created 10,000 hypothetical child in the computer, then the risk of some 600 different genetic diseases then calculated.
