Aircraft alerted about the fire - Östgöta Correspondent

An airplane bound for Bromma got to make a controlled emergency landing in Linköping on Friday morning after the alarm about a fire on board.

Rescue and ambulance were alerted at 07:19 to Linköping Airport. Morning Air travel by road from Vaxjo to Bromma had received indication of a fire on board.

– They had received the alarm about smoke in the cabin, says Lennart Månsson, internal officers at the emergency services in Linköping.

plane, with 47 passengers on board, conducted a so-called controlled emergency landing at Linköping Airport.

Someone fire had not broken out of the aircraft and it is unclear why the alarm occurred. The plane did not fly on to Bromma after landing in Linköping and will undergo an overhaul.

Flight passengers got in the morning help with further travel to Stockholm, this time by bus or train.
