The reason is that computers allow porn surfing, which, according to Sevier leads to “sexual addiction, trafficking, prostitution and countless ruined lives.” Cyberporn is something he himself become a slave to.
It was when he accidentally mistyped the address bar when he would log onto Facebook that he ended up on a porn site. Once there, he became so enamored of “cyber beauties” that he ignored his own wife – who for a time chose to leave him. That, along with the network’s inexhaustible porn server, did the man too depressed to work.
– Apple knows, or should know, that pornography would be harmful to the mind, lead to an addiction and a switchover of the brain so that it prefers the hunt for an erotica based desire and intensity in front of intimacy-based sex, writes Chris Sevier.
He is critical that no one in the Apple store warned him pornography online and the consequences it could have. Now he demands 75,010 dollar (about half a million dollars) in damages and that Apple introduces a filter against pornography on their computers.
