6-year-old hit by a car in Eskilstuna, Sweden - Aftonbladet

A 6 year old boy was hit by a car when he went sledging in Eskilstuna.

He cared for serious injuries.

– The driver is obviously shocked, says Urban Nordqvist at Eskilstuna police.

At 11:40 o’clock was a boy hit on Stavangergatan in the residential Myrtorp in Eskilstuna.

Initially, police said the boy was 3 years but according to the Karolinska Hospital in Stockholm, he is in fact 6 years.

– It happened at a turning area. When the driver runs out of the area came a sledding in front of him. There has not been any speed to speak of, says Urban Nordqvist, county spokesman at Eskilstuna Police at 13 o’clock.

Later on eftermiddage conducted 6-year-old Astrid Lindgren Children’s Hospital, Karolinska University Hospital in Solna, near Stockholm. According Mälarsjukhuset at 16:30 o’clock on Saturday, the boy is seriously injured but during treatment and situation is stated to be stable.

All relatives are informed.

Next enlightenment of the boy’s condition is first given on Sunday morning, according Mälarsjukhuset.
