Wave of computer thefts against Skåne Schools - Swedish Dagbladet

Rebbelberga school suffered the theft of a computer theft in December and again last Friday. When was stolen 36 computers, reports the Helsingborgs Dagblad / NST.

Before Christmas was stolen 36 computers from locked cabinets at Villa School and last week eleven laptops from Southern Utmarkens school.

Computer theft is costing not only money but also goes out of teaching. One problem is all the jobs that are lost.

– I was working on a water project in English. I was not really ready, the text disappeared when the computer was stolen, says a student.

It is still unclear how far insurance covers theft financially. The stolen computers has cost a total of half a million cones.
