He takes out half a billion dollars - IDG.se

Since 2006 Skype and Kazaa founder Niklas Zennström driven venture capital firm Atomico, who has previously invested in gaming companies Rovio and Supercell, payment solutions, Klarna and online retailer Fab.

Today the company announces that it has raised $ 476 million for its third investment fund Atomico III, three times as much compared to the previous financing round.

The new fund will be used to build a portfolio of high-growth startups, primarily outside of Silicon Valley, which is poised for vigorous growth and to enter new markets.
