Samsung cures hundreds of millions to Apple - Swedish YLE

A U.S. court has sentenced South Korean Samsung to pay huge fines to its U.S. rival Apple for patent violations.

Court in California ruled Samsung fined almost $ 300 million for violating Apple’s patents in 13 different electronic devices.

These include the way to pinch your fingers together to zoom on the phone’s touch screen, and different details in electronics design.

With the recent judgment, Samsung has now been ordered to pay a total of nearly a billion dollars to Apple for various patent violations.

Apple and Samsung have disputed patents in various courts for over two years, and long dance does not end here.

Samsung is expected to appeal also the last judgment.
