How much will Samsung to pay Apple - Mobile

The long, controversial patent battle between Apple and Samsung over Samsung to pay $ 290 million (approximately 1.8 billion) to Apple, writes The New York Times.
sum is lower than that requested by Apple ($ 380 million), and significantly higher than what Samsung had said their willingness to pay ($ 52 million).

Five patents and 13 Samsung products

The patent criminal case was about five patents and 13 different Samsung products that were considered to violate Apple’s patents, and was settled a year ago. Left to right to determine the how much Samsung would pay.

jury found that two of Samsung’s products constituted the bulk of patent breach, Samsung Infuse and Droid Charge. These two products alone account for $ 160 million of the compensation Samsung to pay Apple.

While this particular long patenstriden is over – if Samsung does not appeal the decision – so going on other patent battles between Apple and Samsung.

Next lawsuit begins in March 2014 and is about Apple patents and a number of newer products from Samsung, especially the Samsung Galaxy S3. The lawsuit, the same judge to handle.
