The American company Algorithmia has started a dating service with a different focus. Aiming to pair corporate data sets with suitable algorithms that can sift out useful information.

– Algorithms solve a problem. So when you have a collection of algorithms, you basically have a collection of problem-solver, says cofounder Diego Oppenheimer for Technology Review.

– The problem is very few will find them, and almost no one uses them, says Oren Etzioni, CEO of the Allen Institute for Artificial Intelligence, and an early investor in the company.
The first algorithms on the site may include downloading information from the text and find the best path in the game or maps. An early example of how the site is used to find information in the text of the recipe to categorize them.
The authors of the algorithms can select between offering them free or to charge.
