Swedes recognize guldrån in Oslo – Aftonbladet

Two Swedish nationals have admitted involvement in the spectacular gold robbery in Oslo on 29 March.

A total of seven Swedes now suspects.

But the multi-million dollar booty has still not been found.

On March 29, hit four masked and heavily armed robbers to the goldsmith shop Sheik Enterprises in the district of Greenland in the Oslo.

Armed with AK-47 fired at least two shots.

People fled in panic and inside the store were stands apart. The robbery was over in minutes.

The robbers came away with goods to the value of 6-7 million NOK – money that is still missing.



Seven Swedes arrested

Early suspected robbers have links to Sweden.

They fled in a Swedish registered car and the crowbar used to access the gold could be traced to the Swedish department store chain Jula. Even the robbers red gloves and bags were traced to Jula stores.

After the Norwegian police started a collaboration with the Swedish National Criminal Police could five Swedish citizens seized in a raid in Sweden three weeks after the coup.

Another two people sitting arrested on suspicion of complicity in the robbery.

Links with organized crime

Now, two of the suspected robbers, one 19 year old and a 22-year-old, recognized interference, writes the Norwegian newspaper VG.

According to the Norwegian police have suspected the men linked to organized crime in Stockholm .



Arrested – with help from the Swedish police

They used several cars to escape to Sweden. One of the vehicles was later found burnt out.

According to the VG task should police technicians have found fingerprints and hairs in the car that could be linked to one or more of the suspected men through DNA matching.

– We have received support from the Swedish police who gave us information about the environments in Sweden and helped us with the research. It has enabled us to seize those sitting in custody today, says Ringels.

The trial is believed to be carried out in winter, according to police.
