Police received the alarm about gunfire at Dalaplan in Malmö.
In a real estate found a badly injured man – who now died of their injuries.
A larger police presence is working with the case.
The first alarm calls about gunfire on Dalslandsgatan came to the police at 16:12.
– We get data that you have heard what they perceive to be shot at the address, says Maya Forstenius, spokesman at the Malmö Police.
Found Dying
Several police patrols were sent to the scene. In a bit up in the property found a severely injured 44-year-old man.
– We get there and anträffar a half-open door. A person is shot inside, said Detective JB Cederholm said.
The number of shots fired is unclear but the man must be under police have been hit by more than one shot. The man was missing, police said pulse when he was found and was taken by ambulance to hospital where he was found deceased.
Police have no information on any possible motive for the shooting. 44-year-old should not have been known by the police to any great extent in the past and there should not be any connection to gang crime. The man was himself the proprietor of the apartment where he was found dead.
No suspects apprehended
The police knocked on Sunday now door in the area to find out if anyone made any observations or witnessing event. A technical survey has also been conducted at the site.
– We do not know what caused this fatal shooting was the shooter or have been. We keep on working on the site with the county Crimea and a responsible investigator who collects information, says Mats Thimgren, inner officers at Malmö police.
Police said that no person is arrested for murder.
