Kilometer-long queues to Danish ferry – Metro – Metro

The queues wind kilometer to Scandlines ferry camp at Rodby in Denmark since the company has technical problems.

– We recommend that you eat dinner and maybe take a cup of coffee and wait a while to get here. We sail through the night, says Anette Ustrup Svendsen, Scandlines press officer.

Saturday is one of the biggest travel days in Denmark and the press on the ferries to Germany is high. Just in time for it suited the ferry Prinsessegaten Benedikte, just returned from shipyards, to break last Friday.

First, at lunchtime on Saturday, when the queue was 6.5 kilometers long, according folketidende.dk, the shipping company could return to Traffic with four ferries – but queues will take time to complete.
